Good vs. Evil paradigm- Is it TRUE?

The Sweet Spot of Resistance and Pleasure and why it matters right now

The sky over Benbow Inn, California during the Holiday Season

This is Part 2 of a 4 Part series on Addressing Power over structures. You do not need to listen to Part 1 for Part 2 to make sense. Stay up to date on other posts, as well as receive invitations to join us for circle in person and virtually.

Good morning, beloved ones.

This morning, we’re going to talk about a potential dominant paradigm that we have bought into that may or may not be how it actually is. In the midst of it all, the heater is blaring because it’s very cold out and I feel absolute gratitude for heat and fuzzy Christmas pajamas and kitties.

So many of us are at a moment of convergence where we can see so many different things are happening and we’re not sure which way to turn and how to be and the challenges, if we do not have our consciousness clear as we view what’s happening around us, then the way that we view what’s happening around us will become toxic to our systems. Consciousness is the key to navigating toxic cycles with as much awareness as possible.

I’ve been thinking a lot about the beings who resisted the power structures in their times and the common denominators between them. This morning, I’m thinking of Leonard Pelletier, who was wrongfully imprisoned for most of his daughter’s life. Thanks to President Biden, was able to be released from a sentence that was wrong. He says this: Let who you are ring out and resonate in every word and every deed. Yes, become who you are. There’s no sidestepping your own being or your own responsibility. You are the message.

Why I’m thinking about Leonard and Mary Magdalene and Yeshua and Marianne Williamson all together, along with Bob Marley today, waking up thinking about these characters, they were all resistors for their times. They were all accused of things they didn’t do to various degrees and all chose a life of resistance, whether enforced as in the case with Leonard, he was in prison, but in his heart, he is free. Mary Magdalene walking away from the institution of the church choosing instead something else, once she was accused of lying from Peter, walked away, did something else entirely. Yeshua took the establishment on, head on. He lived in a time of power over structures of oppression for his people. And yesterday, Marianne Williamson wrote a beautiful article on her Substack about a conscious choice point toward evolution.

Resistance. Resistance. Resistance. Now what’s curious about resistance is that it uses a lot of our life force. And of course, we must, we must be the message and the messenger.

I can’t share the rest of this series with you without inviting you to one of the most powerful questions that I’ve ever come upon in my lifetime, which is:

If you didn’t have to be in resistance, how would you use your life force?

It is essential for those that I work with to ask themselves this question. Right in the middle of their despair, right in the middle of their privilege, right in the middle of wherever they are, it is important for us to play with, meditate on, and be self-expressed around the unique life force and personality that each of us has, the call in our lives that perhaps our Soul has upon us, to create something beautiful this lifetime.

And what might we create if we weren’t in so much resistance? In Alice Walker’s book, Possessing the Secret of Joy, where she addresses through fiction a very real thing, female genital mutilation, the secret of joy is resistance.

And there’s something so sweet about knowing truly what you stand for. And being willing to fight for it. Yeshua said, the peace that passes understanding. Right? There’s a peace that passes understanding when you know what your resistance is. What you’re fighting against and what you’re fighting for.

Today. And every day that I speak and teach, I invite you to consider how your life force would be directed if you didn’t have to use so much energy in resistance. Just be with it for a moment. How would you use your time? What does your heart love? Or what my grandmother Eden said, what do you naturally find your hands are going toward?

And why this is important, why now, is because we are at such a critical crossroads in our lives as a species, as a community, as individuals, that the savor of precious time that isn’t in resistance, needs to be included in our days.

The pleasure, the power, the connection is part of what will help us gather fortitude for the road ahead. So before I share an idea that scares the living daylights out of me, I’m asking you to pause as I’m going to do now and ask yourself the question,

If my life force was not used in resistance 24-7 and instead at least one hour a day, I would create from my joy that bubbles up within myself… What would that be? The poet Rumi says, this turning towards what you deeply love saves you.

What do you deeply love? Pause a moment and come back.

The sweet spot for me... is being and doing what I deeply love and also seeing how that contributes to my message within the resistance. And for me, that’s teaching. And for 2026, working with the intuition of women, the healers, the guides, the messengers in Path of Mystics, you can join me. It’s just $100 a month at stardustlineage.com. We’re also meeting in person for those of you local. This offering is both my deepest devotion and also my resistance. So we’re looking for the sweet spot.

Now, let’s dive in a little bit further into one of the biggest potential programs today. that we’ve bought into, that I’m inviting you to challenge. I’m going to pause and I’m going to pray so I don’t cry. Hold on.

Today, I’m inviting you to consider for yourself, not to take on my view, but to consider for yourself, to do the critical thinking and the heart-based exploration. Is it true? Is it true? that we live in a state of good and evil constantly?

Are the good forces and evil forces, and are they fighting each other, like every psychodrama, Netflix, futuristic, creature-based, like every horror film, like the things that are unfolding in the news, like every war, Is it us versus them? Is it good versus evil?

Now, I know that it occurs like that in terms of how it’s being played out. But is it actually true that that good versus evil paradigm is so?

What if it’s a setup?

What if it’s malware?

What if it’s a program created to divide us? What if?

Would you be willing to consider it?

Where does it make you feel afraid? Where does it make you shudder to think you might have been buying into unconsciously or consciously a paradigm? And I know there’s entire movements of non-dualism and that Khalil Gibran talks about these contrasts of things that must be so. The reed must be hollowed out to sing. But is it so?

Really? Well, where is it not so?

Well, we know it’s not so in nature. Water is not good versus evil. The hawk going to get its dinner is not good versus evil. Although a life is taken, it’s just dinner. It’s not good versus evil. A mother nursing her baby, that’s not good versus evil.

Everything is not good versus evil. However, if we’re operating in our consciousness as if that’s the ultimate paradigm, then that’s the lens, the viewfinder that we’re looking out through.

What if it’s false?

Pause, breathe, consider, and come back. Now, I’m not asserting that it isn’t true.

I’m not asking you to take on my view. I’m here to be a catalyst to stir things up enough for you to make decisions for yourself.

I was talking to a powerful healer the other day about some challenges that I’ve had in my life with my core wound, which is moving on.

And she told me that I had been moving for six generations, often against my will. But she also indicated within her worldview that at some level I must have chosen that. After the session, I had a powerful conversation with her, where I thanked her for her support and received tons of support, but actually challenged the spiritual idea that everything happens based on agreement. And I’m going to get to that in a future episode. We’re not focusing on that today, but I’m bringing it up because as long as I’m choosing my harm, then there are no victims and there are no perpetrators.

We’re just all in some sick agreement to try this out. So what if it’s not true that I chose it? I mean, maybe I did, I don’t know. But if I chose it, that means every indigenous person experienced in genocide also chose it.

It doesn’t quite hold up when you look at the large swaths of people and genocidal behavior that is wrought by us versus them mentality. When she asked me what basis I might have for a different worldview, I said, well, weapons. Weapons are not actually very old. Well, the first murder was indeed a couple hundred thousand years ago. War as an active form of combat and violence against women has been increasing over the past 5,000 years with an amplification over the past 500 years. But not so far back. There wasn’t very much evidence that was widespread of violence, murder, and mayhem. We have been doing this for a very short period of time.

That means it’s not who we were. Our ancestors, for quite some time, were not in a good versus evil paradigm. They were animistic. Of course, eventually there were gods and goddesses that were good and evil and bad powers and good powers and bad energies and good energies, but it wasn’t always like that.

And so why is it like that now? And is it just a program we’re buying into? Think of Neo and the Matrix, how hard it is to accept that he’s been living in a program and how many people seemed to indicate that they would prefer. And in fact, this healer said, some people like suffering. And I thought, only because we’re unconscious. And I thought my super higher self consciousness would not just keep moving to have an experience. There must be something going on, an infection of toxicity of some kind, that would cause us to want to be this way. Yes, somewhat of a fallen state. Yes. Destroying the planet. Yes. Causing harm.

And perhaps the saddest thing for all of us who love is it doesn’t have to be this way. And that’s the biggest grief that I carry, that it does not have to be this way. And why is this important? Why now?

Because what we’re seeing happening on a day-to-day basis, what I’m personally seeing happening on a day-to-day basis is such an astonishment and such a change from pre-COVID times that I’m alarmed. And that’s why I serve with my creativity and my teachings and my consciousness raising because I want us to be as awake and aware and connected as possible.

But in order to do that, we need a consciousness shift. And that consciousness must be willing to ask the question, is good and evil a program that was inserted into the minds of humans that does not exist in nature? And who knows about heaven and the other realms? Are you willing to question it?

That kind of rigor is going to develop the neuroplasticity of your brain. Regardless of whatever you decide, yes, it exists. No, it doesn’t. Oh, there’s somewhere in between. It’s going to develop a kind of consciousness which will allow you to look at things from a more sober perspective.

Sober like, wow, when Neo looks at what’s actually going on and then learns from Morpheus and How to navigate. Remember the scene on the street with the red dress. And how he learns to walk through the crowd and then eventually develop his superpowers. That’s where I’m headed, y’all. Developing our superpowers in order to navigate a program.

And what would it give you to step out of the program of good and evil? And by the way, I have. Not that I don’t see that it’s occurring, but that my consciousness understands it is a program and I’m opting out. It’s scary to do that. It’s taken me three years just to start talking about it.

Because it threatens so much of what we’ve been taught in almost every single major spiritual tradition. I’m not saying there doesn’t have to be contrast. There does. I’m working on a fiction novel and I keep saying to the editor, there is no foe but the one within.

I do not need an oppressor except the one we have within, even if that’s relevant to the oppressor around us. Because there are oppressors around, and the violence and the harm is real, and it’s definitely not going anywhere. So the only thing that can go somewhere is how we’re interacting with it and the choices that we make, and the chemistry that we cultivate, and the chemistry that we cultivate is going to help us develop our superpowers. We may not fly through the room like Neo and Trinity. But there are opportunities at flight. There are opportunities at rising. There are opportunities at organizing and at causing and at consciously evolving.

Can we consciously evolve parallel to the destruction of so many things we hold dear? And the answer is yes. And we must. We cannot wait for the tipping point. We cannot wait for the collective. We must each choose it ourselves. But first, before the choosing, comes the exploration. Does good and evil exist?

Or is it a program that’s infecting humans and the planet? Was it introduced by power over structures that we eventually called patriarchy? I’m not even talking about who introduced it. I just want you to ask the questions so that you’re conscious. I know it’s a big one. I know for many of us, it’s scary.

And I want to say that you can still have your religion. You can still believe in your gods and goddesses and still ask this question. Because would you want to be in relationship with your gods and goddesses if you’re not allowed to ask the question? Not why good versus evil. We know why. Power.

But does it even actually exist at the fundamental level of creation? Or is it something beings created to create power over structures for control? I’m not going to get into why they want to control. I’m not going to get into the benefits of power over. Right now I have one objective addressing dominant narratives and how that has

impacted your worldview. Keep in mind... things you care for every day, equity between men and women and equal pay, rights for safety for your children to be in schools without security guards, racism that is completely invented in order to divide and conquer and control, enslavement, a complete invention, race, class, caste, gender,

Programs that we buy into when our minds are not rigorous enough to make a distinction between the invented programs and what’s actually possible. Charles Eisenstein reminds us of the more beautiful world our hearts know is possible. And I’m asserting that we can live in that beautiful world our hearts know is possible.

in parallel to the destruction as it’s occurring, and in reality that we must learn to care for ourselves if we’re going to navigate that with any level of grace and prowess. This is Shiloh Sophia for the CARA Council, and I look forward to continuing to explore these ideas with you throughout 2026 and through the council.

And I’m sending love for your exploration. If you’re in my community, go to the dance floor, go to the page, go to the garden, go to the canvas, and I’m going to go stir the soup. I wish I could share it with you.
