The Cura Council is delighted to invite you to join us for our November 1 for our virtual ceremony including prayer, song and story honoring the stars, and our own song in relationship to the stars.
We will also be offering a class, StarSong ~ tickets have not gone on sale yet.
For those in Sonoma, join us on the next day, November 2 6-8pm. https://www.eventbrite.com/e/cura-sonoma-womens-circle-tickets-354362235987
We will have the honor of Crystal Charlotte Easton, Indigenous community member for over ten year with us in person and other members of our council.
November 1 is the High Season Day between Equinox and Solstice. Many also celebrate this cycle as the Day of the Dead, All Saints Day, and Samhain. (And of course the tradition of Halloween).
This cycle of October 29-November 2 finds a rich array of gatherings throughout the world - many of which are centered on the changing of the seasons, the crops and the light, but also the quality of liminality, or what many say ‘the veils are thin’.
There are many legends that go along with this time and here at the Cura Council we are creating our own Legend through these ceremonies.
We have been gathering during this time for over ten years and will continue to do so for the next 500 years. That’s where you come in. We will be offering a ceremony and a class created by Intentional Creativity Guild Members and our Curate Shiloh Sophia. This will serve as our annual community gathering across all communities called VIVID.
More soon!
With love,
Shiloh Sophia
