Hello Community,
Join us on February 1 Virtually Globally or in Sonoma at MUSEA Center for the Moons Ceremony. (at different start times)
Our Moons Ceremony features Curate Shiloh Sophia, that’s me and Lavender Grace with song and Kathleen Bridiginia with stories of Brigid. This is a cross quarter day, meaning it is exactly halfway between Solstice and Equinox. Around here we may also call it a Peak Season Day or High Winter and in the old country they called this start of Spring. Quite literally on this week in certain places of the world you will begin to see changes in the environment around you.
You can listen to this message instead of reading it here:
Our Ceremony will have a Celtic Poetic, Imbolc, Candlemass, Moon-loving flavour and there is some preparation for the ceremony. So if you haven’t signed up to be a subscriber the Clan Cura, please do so as you will be notified The Cura Council Ceremonies. We have scholarships for those who need it complimentary, yet we encourage your contribution, while I do it all volunteer, we do pay our staff and musicisans and each event involved 6 MUSEA staff members. This is a love offering and we love you offering back.
In our ceremony we will light candles, we will extend a cloak of healing, we will hear stories of Saint Brigid and we will have an emphasis on writing a poem together. Please stay tuned for the preparation post released January 31 about how to get ready.
If you are in Northern California you can join us in person for the Cura Council, if you are in the global world, join us virtually. You will receive an email with the zoom link once you subscribe, and if you already have it will land in your inbox.
I got to smell the first paper white narcissus and enjoy the generosity of camellias, and smell the first oranges getting ripe. What are you noticing where you live? You can hear a poem I wrote about it today on my Tea with the Muse substack here.
This is where I share poetry and paintings from the Muse.
The energy of Brigid is also about looking forward, but in a time when we are still so deep in the wintering time. We will kindle her sacred fire and release what is ready.
I will see you in the next circle. May love be at the Center of All Choices
With heart,
Curate Shiloh Sophia
To the Ceremony please bring a candle, a bowl of water with a living flower or branch or leaf, wear a cloak or shawl. The night before we will be inviting you to put a bit of fabric out your window…more on that soon.
I’m looking forward to joining you on this. Beautiful!
