We need to talk

there is trouble ahead…

We need to talk. I would not miss listening to today’s message. Take a walk or pick up a paintbrush as you listen. Make a cup of tea and gaze into space. Please just listen, make it a priority today. This has just the full moon energy that you were looking for to step into the next level of power that you are seeking.

This message was inspired by last night.

Last night we had a powerful circle of women at MUSEA Center in Sonoma. I was very moved by the women’s stories. Every month we gather in the Cura Council to practice remembering who we are and the healers we are. Last night‘s contextual topic was about sharing with the other sisters gathered about what each of us is remembering. What we are carrying. What the circle can count on us to bring forward. The gifts that we are giving language to with our whole lives. (if you ever want to come in person, it’s the first Thursday of the month every month for close to three years now. www.musea.org

Here in the council, in the virtual space, we gather eight times a year to bring you ceremony, centering the wheel of the year that our ancestors followed. In between ceremonies, I share with you what I am carrying and invite you to become more conscious about what it is that you are carrying through these messages. When you offer a tithe you commit to supporting women’s work. Women who are telling the truth and encouraging the collective to come into consciousness and compassion and ceremonial space. The resources go toward the women who help me make this podcast and these live ceremonies possible. I am volunteering, but the women who help are paid. Thank you to my cohost Kathleen Brigidina and my Executive Director at our 501(c)3 Foundation NaaKwarley. And in person, thank you month after month to Anasuya, Vicchi, Rose and Ali for your stewardship of the physical circle ⭕️.

This painting above is the one that started all of it, it was my teaching painting from a course called Legend. This is the one that helped me find the property on Sonoma Mountain that Stewards our community. The one that inspired this Cura space and these ceremonies. The one that reminded me who I am and what my role is in community.

Paintings in our community are part of the way we Oracle. One of the favorite phrases that has arisen out of the in person circles is this one: with our feet on the good red earth, our head in the stars and our hands in the medium we re-member. Thank you Rose for helping to anchor that root system.

I only have one class scheduled this fall and you are invited. You can make your own painting that has this much catalytic meaning. You don’t need to have painting talent or skill. Please just release that objection and show up for yourself. Women need to make images. Imagination has the word image in it, it also has the word magi. Magi is the root for magician. We need to reclaim our image, it’s like magic! It is called Exotic Creatures. This is a neo-shamanic medicine painting journey to come into your fullness and self-initiation. No woman ever regretted spending a weekend centering her own brilliance and bounty. I would not miss this if I was you. You can come in person to Sonoma, or Miami or join us from anywhere in the world for livestream or on-demand at your leisure (available for a year).

www.musea.org has all the details on all four upcoming events for Exotic Creatures as well as a complementary live event next week called Luscious.

I’ll see you in the next circle. We need to talk.
