Dear Ones - It has been a long full day of being with community in the virtual space. As I made this video I noticed how loud this baby bird was - and it has been at it for 12 hours. Watching the mama come and feed it has been a gift. Anyway I thought I would share this really simple heart brain coherence practice with you. ~ Shiloh Sophia
Please plan to join us on August 1 for our Cura Ceremony virtually and then on August 6 in Sonoma at the ranch.
I would love to share one of the most powerful things I’ve ever learned with you, which is how to bring ourselves into coherence in a very short period of time by connecting the heart and the brain. You don’t have to do a lot. It’s not an effort. It’s more like a tuning in and turning on.
So I just invite you to first connect with the space of your heart. Knowing that in this exact moment, there’s nothing else that you need to do. Connect with your heart. And then see a connection between your heart and your beautiful brain. Breathe. And then imagine a golden infinity loop between the heart and the brain creating more coherence. You visualize that golden infinity loop.
You feel the connection because the heart and the brain are all already connected. And what this does is it allows you to become conscious of it in a new way. And I’m just noticing that we have a soundtrack of a baby bird whose mom has been coming to feed it since early this morning. For probably 12 hours, that little bird has been asking for food and getting fed. So I’m including that because it’s part of our soundtrack.
When the heart and brain are connected, We move out of the beta brainwaves and into alpha and sometimes into theta as we just allow ourselves to rest and connect. We know that the heart and the brain are always connected. It’s us becoming conscious of it that shifts how the body experiences it. We move into intentional chemistry.
Once we feel that calming sense of connection, we can breathe and just rest knowing that there’s nothing else that needs to happen right in this moment except to feel our sense of connection to ourselves and really to all of creation.
This is our sacred responsibility to collaborate with ourselves and nature and one another. And bring ourselves into a more peaceful state whenever possible. This is Curate Shiloh Sophia. And I hope to see you on August 1st for our ceremony at the cross-quarter time with love.
From me and a little baby bird getting fatter by the moment.
