Imagine me listening to this in bed this morning as she played it for me before I got up for the day. She is always very early these days, unlike yours truly. What a groundswell of rigorous thought to be presented with before you brush your teeth or have some coffee! Shiloh continues to write more strongly and clearly as she develops her thoughts. What a wonder to hear this, and I cannot wait for part 2!

This is profound, to speak truly; we have to choose individually!
It is not that we don't love community, it is that communities, at these times, are formed of individual purposes, and most members do not know it. Most of us believe that WE are a community and it is a lie.
I will be listening to this again! I understand and have felt the pull to fall back into the old way. I have experienced, many times, my habit to control, to do it alone, to put aside my painting, my community, my source of strength to focus on the task of teaching. I did it alone for so, so, long. It is both a coat that I no longer want to wear, but also seems to still fit so well. It is easy to be a student and hide away from the world. It was necessary! It is hard to move into a familiar space in a new way... it may be one of the hardest things I have ever done. But, even though I don’t know how it will all work out, I know I never want to go back. I have found strength in community and am so blessed that THIS was the one I called for and the one that caught me as I was falling, sometimes down and sometimes up. We have so much work ahead of us! I have always felt a pull to do the work. I am so grateful to be doing it with YOU, my Musea family. So here I go, to practice what I have learned with my own community. To figure it out in my small town and grow the message. I will bring what I have learned to the council and we will dance and sing
