I love this topic of animism. I believe that when we are drawn to a person, object, place or any form of matter, we are experiencing the sacred essence that vibrates within each. But we are able to not only feel it, we also can identify with that perceived energy, because we know it is part of us, and we are part of it. It's the connection we hunger for, not to overpower another person of thing, but rather to experience it so that we may better know ourselves. And when we experience and respect the energy and life vibrating in another form, we not only come to know ourselves even more intimately, we finally know love.
