Disrupting Consciousness Constructs & Default Thinking Part One

Draw power and insight today - if you are not in charge of your thoughts, someone else is

We are way more easy to control if we do not understand how to curate our own consciousness.

If you cannot think you’re own thoughts, someone else is designing your thoughts for you!

What if I told you that you had way more access to your consciousness than you’re actually using?

What if I told you it was a complete set up, and that you have access to more information than you have ever dreamed of?

The tools we have been looking at our consciousness through have been yielding results specific to those tools. Let’s change the tools.

Recorded live from Malta

Part two is coming soon! Also save the date for September 21 for the equinox ceremony!

I’m seeing some strange things happening amongst my online networks. Like people getting in word wars about the recent assassination.

This is just the current symptom of a systemic issue where we are in a battle for having clear consciousness available to us. When I look at both sides of what is being shared, I’m pretty astonished by what appears to be extreme indoctrination on both sides. I feel kind of baffled looking at it. Not that I know something better. Just that I’m seeing something strange happening and so I’m pointing it out.

There is no talking to either party about logic or worldview or systemic indoctrination because wherever people have ended up, they feel very very attached to. And very threatened to be challenged and if you do, you become the enemy. But also both sides think the other one has been completely duped. It’s very convenient for the patriarchy for good people to polarize this way.

My solution is always the same. Identify the constructs, begin to navigate the defaults differently and choose greater access to consciousness and soul.

Who am I to be talking about this, nobody. So if I’m already nobody, then what have I got to lose? Nothing. Yet what I have to gain is everything. A community of conscious caring people who are willing to look.

This exploration is all part of my upcoming experience, called Stardust Bones. When I commit to a program, the curriculum comes in one day at a time until I’m ready. Part two of my episode will come in the next day or two. You can listen to me exploring consciousness, not the current politics, in this podcast.

How would you like to disrupt your default settings in the domains of consciousness? In other words, how would you like to think, feel, and be as you are without all the constraints and concepts and indoctrination? Today, I am here with a sacred assignment for whoever is listening. I invite you to an expand your way of accessing your consciousness. This is so that you can access a more true voice.

You can live a life that is according to your design instead of your default.

Living a life by proxy, by response to trauma, by fragmentation, means we're not consciously choosing to curate our consciousness itself. And that the chaos which rages around us is going to continue to influence us in ways that it doesn't have to. There are lots of ways that the chaos and power-over dominant structures around us do influence us. The influence is real. But we don't have to do it all the time.

The invitation to rescue our consciousness at least 50% of the time is the call. But to do that, you have to be conscious that there is a choice in the first place. This is Curating Consciousness.

Let’s explore the confluence of inter-consciousness. Let's confront the default settings in the domains of consciousness defined by popular psychological constructs.

Our Vision is

  • To gain access to greater interconnected awareness so that we can draw power and insight from more potential ways of thinking, being, and acting within ourselves than we have previously been taught is available.

  • To challenge the assumptions about the domains of consciousness and how they are actually accessed.

They are being moderated. Let's unmoderate them by conscious choice so that we can address the challenge of the linear thinking model of how we've been taught consciousness works.

We've been taught that there's something called consciousness, subconsciousness, the unconscious, and supra or superconsciousness. This is dominant across many different models and although there are nuances, this particular one has settled into our awareness in such a way that it actually has engineered our brain to think about consciousness this way and therefore limits our access.

  • We are here with a vision to create a model of consciousness and mediums within which we can learn to curate consciousness by choice.

  • We are here with a vision to choose to gain access to the domains that we were taught are only available through journeys of different kinds. Supported journeys, whether those are therapeutic or psychedelic.

Journeys where we have support to go into places we're not normally hanging out. But that we could access by conscious choice. We are here to directly disrupt the self-imposed, imagined limitations enforced by the psychological constructs so that we can think more clearly, move beyond the default thinking of the default identity, and actively collaborate with the default mode network of the brain.

Let's define default identity. Default identity is who we ended up being as a result of the influences around us and how they shaped our inner sense of self.

Default identity is like the skin we shed once we realize identity can be self-determined. While influenced by those around us, and what we may think of as ‘what we come in with when we incarnate’ for many of us, who we, “ended up being” was not a choice. Therefore, we are not at choice. Therefore, it's default.

For there to be a choice, one must be aware of there being a choice and be able to choose it freely.

And if not freely, be aware of the constraint which keeps us from it and holding the choice as a future potential. Like becoming aware that we have an option we haven't considered before, even if we can't take it right now because it would put us in danger or jeopardize something important to us.

The default identity, aka who we ended up being, works with the subconscious without the awareness of your individual conscious self. This default identity, which influences the self, has experienced a lot of indoctrination from constructs that are outside influences, literally outside of your mind and body. Things like family, culture, religion, behavior.

These constructs, and they are constructs because they are invented and unique to each specific region and place and culture and family line. They are invisible to us as we grow up. The moments of waking up begin to shed the constructs. Yet we may lose friends and family and privilege and affiliation if we go through a.complete release of all the constructs. (Which is why I'm careful when I teach about it.)

Here's why it matters. Because if we do not have clear access to ideas, then we do not have insights available and we cannot live out the potential of Soul.

The Potential of Soul

The potential for the Soul is that we are to communicate in the Self that we are this lifetime. I'm going to be covering a lot of this material in depth in my upcoming Experience called Stardust Bones. But for now, let's continue on. Let's talk about the construct for Soul and you can think about it any way you choose.

Nobody really knows, but let's consider what most major spiritual and psychological traditions think about the Soul. You can play with them… the Soul is the context of consciousness within which our body happens and is held; in other words we are a body within a Soul

Potentially….

The soul comes in with our body at incarnation.

The soul is carrying pre-existent information, or what we call codes, patterns, or sometimes the remembering.

The soul is connected to us all the time, whether we're aware of it or not. And the Soul, when we are consciously connected to it, within the framework of our physical body, is able to communicate more clearly to us and through us if we choose to engage with it.

So we're connected to Soul all the time, whether we're aware of it or not. But when we become consciously connected to it within the framework of our physical body, in other words, actual embodiment, then we're able to communicate more clearly with this Higher Soul Self.

All of the work that we do here (in my work) is an effort to connect with the Higher Soul Self while in the body. Let's explore dominance for a moment.

Power-over dominant structures seek to moderate and allocate Soul access and if they can control our consciousness then our access to the Soul information is limited

They can ensure, at least until you're aware of it, that you cannot hear what we'll call True Voice. True voice being defined as that which is connected with your Soul. Then we are easier to control if we cannot hear our True Voice.

Dominant culture seeks to control all the outer cultures. And then the inner cultures...are then dominated by the outer cultures. So those outside influences which create culture in community and structures around us therefore create the inner culture and then that inner culture is shaping our access to consciousness.

Consciousness just exists in pure space with Soul, the question is just how much access do we have to it? We've also been taught that the degree of our trauma and abuse and dominance and enslavement of different kinds has shaped our consciousness.

I want to make a bold stand that our trauma pattern shapes your access to your consciousness but that your consciousness is absolutely connected to your Soul, no matter what. Your access is constrained. But the connection is there. The connection needs care. The pathway through which you access your thought is what we are after here. Because your thought influences energy, which influences the chemistry of the body, how you feel, which then influences thought. It's a bit of a chicken and an egg.

But here we're disrupting. We're putting an insert into a place of chosen change. We're saying we're going to disrupt how this pattern works. We can kind of come in at any point, right in this moment.

To say to our voice, voice, I want access. The outer cultures of religion, politics, society, family, tradition, taboo, customs, practices, processes may have shaped my inner culture. And that inner culture has shaped my relationship with all of those constructed frameworks and all of the people and communities inside of them. But I want access to my Voice. Your Voice with a capital V is how you live from within the Self with a capital S. How that self communicates with what we could call a Higher Soul Self or a preexistent self or a self which is carrying information for you this lifetime.

To gain access to the full capacity of consciousness and identity, we will need to explore the constructs of consciousness that have been taught, bought, and sold, and deeply patterned and ingrained into the neuroplasticity of the brain. Such that to even introduce the idea that there is another way to access consciously within one's self and one's process, not through a therapist or a shaman, but by your choice, occurs to some groups as dangerous and others as blasphemous.

Can you imagine what would be possible if more of us had access to a full consciousness instead of the part of consciousness moderated by what we've been taught and groomed for?

In our work we'll explore a context for the consciousness and work with rearranging how we view conscious, subconscious, unconscious and super consciousness. Let me state that all contexts for consciousness are constructions. They are stories invented about which we actually know very little. So perhaps we can look at this as a form of play, distinction and desire a capacity to actually navigate.

I do want to offer a warning, should you go on to study this work with me, that mental health challenges are part of what makes it challenging to make distinctions between what is a construct and what is not a construct. It's when lines between ideas of the subconscious and the conscious and the unconscious become blurred and we're not able to navigate and information may be flowing freely between them without our consent.

Like something pops up from the unconscious, the deep hidden realms into the conscious space and we can't navigate if it's real or not. We don't know what part of us is speaking. And so when we are deeply in chemical imbalances, it's actually the interconnection of all of these which can be difficult.

So we want to make a distinction between the kinds of consciousness but not be limited in how we work with them so that we can, by conscious consent, choose to dip into the unconscious, if it's safe for us. Dive into the superconscious if that feels safe for us, and safety is a priority.

I wish to propose that everything from the idea of war, to rape culture, to ownership of lands, to colonization of cultures, to the kinds of boundaries that we create between each other, to our belief systems, to our particular concepts of what we think of as God. Our inventions, our stories. For what else could they be? Humans make up stories.

We are myth makers who draw our first myths from the ground, plants and animals, planets and stars and seasons. Does any modern human not understand why an earlier people might worship the sun and the moon, the water and the earth, the plant, the animal? They understood where our life force came from. They mythified, that relationship, which creates ritual and customs that turn into practices and spiritual traditions and create culture.

That's all part of who we are as humans. But what is actually true in terms of a story? In order to navigate a story, one must have access to clear Voice and begin to create a construct for ourselves, a curated consciousness and a new definition of how we choose to experience reality.

We go through a cycle of not being able to trust those who are making up the stories for us. We may have trusted them once. But now we're questioning everything. The rigor is that to curate one's consciousness, we must address the consciousness construct itself. But in order to address the consciousness construct, you have to have consciousness.

How you work with it, how you access it, and then how you navigate it. To do that, we must use consciousness, a new context, and build a construct to look through. The results we get when we're looking are only as sophisticated as the tools we are looking through.

Let's create a new lens to look through and we will find distinct additional results than the previous worldview that we have been looking through. In the next part of our work we'll explore the context of a new lens I'm proposing called inter-consciousness. I hope your brain is already starting to ask other questions.

You can begin to dive more deeply into this work like this.

  1. Through listening or reading again, and drawing or journaling while you listen.

  2. By picking one of your most cherished beliefs and keep unpacking it. What's true about this? What's true about this? What's true about this? And get as far back to the root as you can. Keep asking yourself, is it true? Is it true?

Be clear that the influence of the constructs is felt as truth, but is it a truth with a capital T like truth? Water is wet and rocks are hard and the sun rises each day. Those are like truths with a capital T. (but only in matter)

Most of what we believe and have shaped our brains around are stories, not Truths. And then we digest them and claim them and defend them as truths with a capital T. What truths are you holding as so? That may or may not be so

3. You can ask who benefits from me holding this belief? Who benefits from holding this belief?

This feels good to share it with you, even though it feels a little scary to do so because I sometimes worry that we aren't ready. But when I look around at the narrative that is being bought and taught right now, at the polarization around things like war and the current shootings and the current paradigms that we believe are operating… I see friends standing against friends about beliefs about people that are constructs and i'm watching it and it's absolutely confronting and concerning. But instead of addressing those directly, which would happen more powerfully in a living conversation. I'm addressing the LENS through which we're viewing our world and our selves.

Much love to you.
