I led a red thread circle for a group of women clients who bonded beautifully in treatment two weeks ago and I felt profound gratitude reading your poems to them. I’m overjoyed with gratitude to share with you that I’m doing splendidly and am at peace 🙏🏼🕊️ What a beautiful, transformative process I’ve been experiencing in my counseling profession!! I’ve been at this for over two years now in the mental health and substance use field and am glad I’m earning my stripes as a trauma co-occurring therapist. It’s challenging and I LOVE it!! 💯😻🎯
I’ve been looking forward to tell you that I got a scholarship for getting certified in Integrative Somatic Trauma Therapy Certificate Program with The Embody Lab. I get to attend the Wednesday classes while at work every week on the clock and am available for the Monday evening classes 7 to 9 p.m. I’m earning continuing education credits (CECs) for my state license renewal. Every 2 years we have to submit to the state 40 CECs to renew our licenses. I appreciate the accountability. Being a part of this course with other therapists in real time has been filling my cup and building my resilience. I love the community!! Next year I’ll be in a mentorship with Embody Lab to get support while continuing to apply the practices with my clients. 💃🏼🙏🏼🧘🏼♀️
Finally, I got Substack to help me recover my account which I couldn’t access after I deleted Microsoft Authenticator from my iPhone, so I’m back!!
