Dear community, today, I’m taking the liberty to speak to Jesus and Mary Magdalene and a sacred exchange they had called the anointing. We make spaciousness for different traditions to gather together at the council.
Today’s significance has played a role in my own ministry. I share this with you today, not as word for word gospel - but a storyteller’s perspective of what this event signifies and I invite you to imagine it with me.

“Wheresoever this gospel shall be preached throughout the whole world, this also that she hath done shall be spoken of for a memorial of her” (Mark 14:9).
I realize that I’m blending gospels and not quoting Word for Word but it’s all easily findable. Should you desire to make up your own opinion. I mean no disrespect to anyone in this sharing. I just can’t help but wonder if what my mother Caron thought was true. That it was His feminism that made Him a target for death from the leadership of the day. Certainly anyone preaching freedom has been a target in the times of patriarchy.
